love triangle ended in brutal murder at five-star hotel in Guwahati Police Solved Within Hours

Guwahati Murder Case: Police have claimed to solve the mystery of the brutal murder of a 42-year-old man in a five star hotel in Guwahati within a few hours. In this case of murder due to a triangular love affair, the police have arrested the accused boyfriend-girlfriend couple. Late on Monday (5 February) night, the couple was planning to escape from Guwahati Airport to Kolkata.

According to the report of NDTV, police said that 42-year-old Sandeep Suresh Kambli was staying in Azara Hotel located near Guwahati Airport, who was found dead in the room. This whole matter is related to love affair. 25-year-old Anjali Shaw and her lover Rakesh Shaw, 27, accused in the murder case, have also been arrested. The police arrested both of them even before they reached Guwahati airport.

According to police sources, deceased Kambli was a car dealer from Pune. The hotel staff found him lying on the floor in the room, bleeding profusely from his nose.

Anjali became friends with Kambli last year

Sources said that Anjali and Kambli became friends after meeting at Kolkata airport only last year. Anjali works in a restaurant located at Kolkata Airport. Anjali and Kambli were also in a relationship, but the matter became complicated when she was already in a love affair with Rakesh.

Rakesh was pressurizing him to marry

Anjali was already in a relationship with him (Rakesh). Rakesh was constantly pressurizing Anjali to get married. Anjali told during interrogation that victim Kambli had many intimate pictures of her in his phone. She was very worried about this also.

Anjali and Rakesh had made the entire plan

After all this, Anjali and Rakesh prepared a plan as to how to get these pictures from Kambli. As per the plan, Anjali decided to meet Kambli at Kolkata airport first, but Kambli said to meet in Guwahati instead of Kolkata. For this, a room was booked in a 5 star hotel.

After the fight both phones were snatched from Kambli

Anjali and Rakesh flew to Guwahati together, but upon reaching there both separated. Without informing Kambli, Rakesh booked a room for himself in the same hotel where both of them (Anjali-Kambli) were staying.

Both Anjali and Kambli had reached the hotel together, but in the meantime Rakesh also entered. Kambli got angry after seeing Rakesh in the hotel. There was a quarrel and fight between the two. Kambli was badly injured and after this Anjali and Rakesh ran away leaving him in the hotel. During the fight, both of them also snatched Kambli’s two mobile phones. Among these were allegedly intimate pictures of Anjali.

This is how the police team reached the accused

The hotel staff had received a phone call from Rakesh during the day, after which they became alert. After this the entire matter was informed to Guwahati Police. To reach both the suspects, the police searched the hotel register, CCTV footage and airport passenger list, after which Anjali and Rakesh were arrested near the hotel before boarding the flight to Kolkata at 9:15 pm on Monday night. After the arrest of these two, the police have started further investigation in the case and are trying to connect the incidents.
